Two new notices relating to the IEMA selection process are announced. According to the selection opened by the State Institute of Environment and Water Resources of Espírito Santo, they are 44 vacancies, in addition to the reserve registration, aimed at mid- and higher-level professionals.

Simplified selection process notice no. 02/2021
There are 38 vacancies, in addition to the reserve registration, in the position of Support Assistant in Environmental Development and Water Resources.

To apply for vacancies, you must have completed high school. The remuneration for the position is R$ 1,889.72, plus R$ 300.00 in food allowance, for working 40 hours a week.
Simplified selection process notice no. 03/2021
All opportunities offered in this notice require higher education, experience in the area in which you are applying and a driver's license in category B.

The vacancies are for the position of Environmental Development and Water Resources Agent in the following areas:
- Biologist – Amateur Bird Breeding (SISPASS): 1 vacancy;
- Biologist – Management of wild fauna and exotic fauna: 3 vacancies;
- Veterinary Doctor – Management of wild fauna and exotic fauna: 1 vacancy;
- Zootechnician – Management of wild fauna and exotic fauna: 1 vacancy.
Remuneration for higher level positions is R$ 5,416.56, plus a food allowance of R$ 300.00, for working 40-hour shifts per week.

Selection steps
Candidates will be evaluated through a qualifications test, with scoring criteria varying depending on the position being contested.
For middle level, this stage will be worth up to 38 points, with up to 22 points for professional experience and up to 16 points for professional qualification.
In the scoring criteria for this level of education, the following will be considered:
- Higher-level course diploma;
- Technical level course in the administrative area;
- Single course in the administrative area with a minimum duration of 20 hours;
- Single course in the environmental area with a minimum duration of 20 hours;
- Single course in the IT area with a minimum duration of 20 hours;
- Professional experience and internship experience.
Candidates for higher level positions They will be able to obtain up to 21 points in the test, with up to 6 points for titles and up to 15 points for professional experience.
To this end, doctoral, master's and postgraduate courses at a lato sensu specialization level (with a minimum workload of 360 hours) will be considered, in addition to time of service in the area in which the candidate competes.
Tiebreaker criteria
If there is a tie in the sum of grades obtained, the following preference criteria will be adopted, in this order:
- Candidate with the highest score in the professional experience criterion;
- Candidate with the highest score in the professional qualification criteria;
- Older candidate, considering the day, month and year of birth.

The IEMA selection process of notice nº 001/2021 had registrations made until August 1, 2021 and offered 14 vacancies for higher education professionals distributed among the following positions:
- Environmental Development and Water Resources Agent: for professionals graduated in Chemical Engineering, Biology, Forestry Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Geology or Chemistry;
- Environmental Sanitation Technologist: for professionals with a technology course in the respective area;
- Support Analyst in Environmental Development and Water Resources: for professionals with a degree in Administration.
