Positions in the São Gonçalo do Amarante City Hall competition
In the City Hall and its administrative units, a total of 547 vacancies were offered, 28 of which were reserved for people with disabilities. In the SGA SAAE, there are 36 vacancies, two of which are reserved for candidates with disabilities.

The expected monthly salaries for starting SGA – RN employment range from a minimum to up to R$ 3,002.03. These values, it should be noted, were those announced in 2019, when the notice was released.

Interested parties could register at the IBFC website (www.ibfc.org.br), from 9 am on December 5, 2019 until 10 pm on January 6, 2020.
The amount required to confirm registration was R$ 45.00 (primary level positions), R$ 55.00 (secondary level) or R$ 70.00 (higher level positions).
Stages of the São Gonçalo do Amarante City Hall competition
The São Gonçalo do Amarante City Hall competition will consist of an objective test (all applicants), qualifications test (only for those competing for higher-level positions), physical fitness test (Municipal Guard) and psychological assessment.
It is worth remembering that candidates for the Municipal Guard will still have to go through the social investigation and Training Course stages.
The objective test will be held in the city of São Gonçalo do Amarante and/or Natal, depending on the position being contested. The scheduled dates for taking the tests are September 12th and 19th, 2021, as amended in the opening notice.
Previous competitions in São Gonçalo do Amarante
In 2016, a public competition was launched, under the responsibility of IBAM (announcement no. 01/2016), but this was only to fill four vacancies in the position of Third Class Municipal Prosecutor.
The remuneration was R$ 6,923.22 and the requirement was a Bachelor's Degree in Law with registration as a Lawyer at the Brazilian Bar Association, in addition to a minimum of three years' experience in legal activities.
Before this, there was another public competition held by the Municipality of São Gonçalo do Amarante. The notice was released in September 2011 (nº 001/2011) and was valid until November 2016, depending on the position.
